they were just kids in love when it all came down to it. both of them were more than familiar with their surroundings. they were an improbable couple who had an improbable romance. the varsity quarterback and the science geek were not the two persons in which would normally be found together. they defied expectations and they broke all of the laws that went along with high school. they were young and naïve to the cruelties of the world. micah and lillian were basically inseparable. they did absolutely everything together. there was not one single thing that they did without consulting the other one prior to doing it. the two of them were always seen together no matter what. they were never supposed to end up together, but fate drew them an amazing hand. lillian’s parents did not necessarily approve of micah and yet, she always found a way to be with him regardless. Nothing was going to stand in the way of being together. they were just silly kids who fell in love and changed the course of history itself. The way that they saw things, the world was a stage and they were the directors. They created their own fairytales and they wrote their own endings. Neither one of them were going to be pulled away from the other one regardless of anything that happened in that life. They were the perfect couple. They were absolutely crazy about each other. That wasn’t to say that they never fought, because they did, quite often, actually, but if anything that only made their love grow to even bigger heights. They were rebellious in their own ways. The odds were against them and they were well aware. Given the fact lillian’s parents disapproved of micah, she rebelled against her parents more often than not and she wasn’t exactly welcomed back into her house. That didn’t stop them. They were fearless and nothing was going to come between them.
High school was the prime of their youth and they lived it to the fullest. They had found something that most people searched their entire lives for at the age of seventeen years old. They were an improbable couple and together they could do whatever they wanted. After the both of them graduated, all they wanted to do was run as far away from home together as they possibly could, so that was precisely what they did. They packed up all of their things and ran as far as England. England was extremely different and it took awhile to get used to. However, upon their arrival, micah landed a job in a factory and lillian took up a waitressing job at a local diner. They didn’t have very much to start out with, but that didn’t stop them from being happier than they had ever been in either of their lives. They were at the start of the rest of their lives and they were doing fairly well for doing it on their own. Micah’s job wasn’t actually that bad of a job. He made fairly decent money and with that money along with the money that lillian was making at the diner, she decided to take night classes at the local university so she could pursue a career in nursing. She knew that she had to do something else with her life. She knew that she wasn’t going to be a waitress forever, so she figured that nursing would be the best way to go. Besides, she wanted to help people and that seemed like the best option for her. Micah supported her one hundred percent. Every decision she made, he backed her up completely. He was her biggest fan and it was obvious.
A little after lillian enrolled into the university, things settled down a bit. They more micah and lillian were around each other, the easier life seemed to become. That was the reason they decided to get married. At the age of nineteen years old, the couple was joined in holy matrimony. The two of them had found their own definition of the word “heaven” and that particular definition had been laying inside the other one. After the wedding, life seemed to slow down and continue at its normal pace. And the day that the news arrived was no exception. It was a day like any other day. Micah had left for work early as usual and lillian was working at the diner. The only exception to the normality of the day was the fact that lillian didn’t feel the best. She brushed it off and blamed it on some kind of a bug that she heard had been going around. Though, the more that she thought about it, the more the pieces started falling together and into place. She asked one of her co-workers to cover for her and she rushed herself home so she could take a home pregnancy test; positive. Lillian didn’t know what to do. Her and micah’s lives had only just begun and a baby would only make things more stressful on the two of them. So, she did what any new mother-to-be would have done; she curled up in a corner and cried. Micah came home from work at his normal time and found his wife crying in the bathroom. She told him the news and he couldn’t have possibly been more excited. Micah had always wanted kids and with a grin, he simply wiped the tears from lillians eyes and reassured her that things were going to be alright. That regardless of that was going to happen, they would make it because they could do absolutely anything in the world as long as they had each other. As he spoke his words, all the doubt in lillian’s mind vanished completely and she knew he was right. Micah was going to be a great father.. he was born to be a father.
After lillian realized she was pregnant, she switched her college major into the medical field. She had known all along that she didn’t just want to settle for being a nurse. She wanted to be the one that people came to when they had problems and she wanted to be the one to fix them. Micah had received a promotion at the factory and their money situation was scarce. They were able to live comfortably with a little bit extra to spare. Things were moving along quite brilliantly for the both of them. The months crept by and micah and lillian were growing restless. Given the fact that the baby was a complete and total surprise, they decided to keep the sex of a baby a surprise as well. Being the overachieving couple they were, they decided to pick the names of the baby out months in advance. After a lot of debate, they finally decided on two names; noah atticus and arianna jade. Neither one of those names held any significance to either micah nor lillian. Really, they were picked because they looked pretty on a piece of paper. Lillian had never been more scared in her entire life as she was laying on top of that hospital bed. She had been in labor for close to twelve hours and the baby wasn’t coming out. Her heart sank and almost broke when the doctor’s told her that the baby’s umbilical cord was wrapped around it’s throat and if they didn’t do an emergency c-section, the baby was going to strangle itself to death. Micah paced the floor as he waiting on the word from the other side of the emergency room doors. He had never been more frightened in his entire life. Though, the feeling was indescribable when he heard the news that both his wife and son were both perfectly alright and waiting for him to go in and see them.
Noah Atticus Taylor was born on October thirty-first at ten twelve am. He weighed approximately six pounds, eight ounces and was measured at being twenty-three inches long. He came out of the womb screaming, which made the doctor’s jobs just a little bit easier. After a twelve hour labor, lillian passed out and slept for a long time. That allowed micah to have time to himself with noah. Micah told him about his life and the life he and lillian had shared together. he told him about all of the things that they had been through and he explained that even though they were young, they were going to give him everything he wanted. When lillian woke up and saw noah’s face for the first time, every ounce of doubt that she had about the future completely vanished. She knew that they were right where they belonged and that noah was right where he belonged. They were a family now and they were going to make it through whatever life wanted to throw their way. The next day the taylor’s were allowed to take noah home. Right off the bat they spoiled him. By getting him only the nicest toys, even though they couldn’t exactly afford nice things at that time. Micah and lillian knew that noah’s birth was the start of their adult lives even though they weren’t adults yet. Everything was going to be completely different, but they were ready for it.
Noah started pre-school when he was three years old. It was sort of a young age for a child to start schooling, but his parents felt that he was ready to go. From an early age, educators saw that noah was an exceptionally intelligent child. He learned to do things faster than most of the other children and he was an extremely social boy. He liked to share his things and play around with the other kids that were in the same pre-school class as he was. Noah showed his brilliance early and he impressed a lot of his teachers. Kindergarten was a little bit different for him. His schooling was still fairly impressive and his intelligence continued to increase, though his social skills were taking a nose dive. Once he started kindergarten, noah stopped sharing his toys and he stopped interacting with the other kids in his class. His parents were not really concerned about that, however, even though his teachers were. Sadly, noah was quite anti-social throughout his grade school years. By the time noah hit middle school, lillian had earned herself a degree and had graduated from medical school. she was a doctor and was bringing in incredibly decent money. Micah had become the manager of the factory and was also bringing home decent money. So, the family was more or less wealthy and that aided in Noah’s social status at school. he sort of became the “big man on campus” and used his looks and his social status to get a lot of the things that he wanted. Through middle school, he was more or less a bully, but the entire school loved him.
A few weeks before his freshman year in high school started, Lillian received a phone call from her mother informing her that her father had an advanced state of alzheimers disease and that he didn’t have a whole lot of time left. For the next week, micah and lillian talked about it and decided to move back to seattle, washington to be close to her father before he died. They were also going back to take care of her mother when it happened. Noah was not a fan of that idea what so ever. He was one of the more popular boys at school and he wasn’t ready to give it up at that point in time. That was when the aggressive and violent side of noah emerged. He wasn’t so much violent as he was aggressive. He wasn’t going to have it go any way but his own way and he was determined to fight his parents in order to stay in England. However, he lost the fight and the family was on a plane with everything they could take to seattle. They found a fairly nice house located not too far away from lillian’s mother’s house and they moved in. To Noah, Seattle wasn’t home. England was home and that was all that he knew. He didn’t want to be living in the united states. He wanted to be back with his friends and his lifestyle. It took awhile for him to get used to, but during his first week of school, he joined the football and lacrosse teams and his whole attitude about everything started changing. He had a fairly rough personality change and he wasn’t as arrogant and aggressive as he used to be. He had calmed down quite a bit and focused on his school work. Girls were a big part of his life. He didn’t use girls like a lot of guys did. He had been brought up a gentleman and he was going to remain a gentleman. There wasn’t anything he hated to see more than guys treating women disrespectfully. Yes, he had the jock ego and he had a rough exterior, but deep down inside, Noah was just a big teddy bear that liked to give out hugs to pretty girls.
High school was pretty much the same from that point forward. His attitude and personality changed quite a bit and instead of taking a negative and pessimistic approach to life, he saw things in an optimistic light. He decided that life was too short to waste being angry and hateful all the time. There was too much good left in the world. by the time he turned nineteen, noah had already developed a taste for liquor. Sure beer was alright every now and then, but he liked the hard stuff. It was really the only thing that got him going. He wasn’t a lightweight by any means. He just didn’t drink very often. One particular night, Noah decided to hit the Seattle nightlife. He was a fan of the city’s nightlife. There was always something to do, trouble to get into, and fun to be had. That’s what he was all about. So, he made his way from his Seattle home towards his favorite nightclub. The night wasn’t exactly young, but he knew the majority of the staff and he could get in whenever he wanted. All he had to do was go around back. Turning the corner, he heard the cries of a girl and realized the scene that was playing out before him. Instinctively, he took off sprinting towards the girl and the men that were surrounding her. Throwing a single punch, he managed to get a path to the girl and yanked her out of the way and stood there to face the three guys in front of him. Noah had grown up taking fighting lessons and he knew what he was doing. He was more than ready to get into a fight. It had been ages and he had been dying for a little action. The man he punched pushed himself to his feet and ran down the alley, followed closely behind by the other two.
Sophie Pearson was probably one of the greatest people he had ever met in his entire life. She was a constant story and he never grew tired of reading. He hadn’t realized it, but Noah had been friends with her older brother, Tristin, for quite some time. He had just never put two and two together as to who the younger twin was. Needless to say, they hit it off rather well and before long, the two of them started dating. Noah had never actually been that happy before. Sure, he was happy, but he was never really “happy”. Sophie made him happy every day that he saw her smile. She was full of so much life and energy. It was horrible to think that someone as amazing as sophie pearson was almost stolen from the world. Though, all of that happiness backfired on him when sophie dropped the bombshell on him. She was pregnant and noah was in no way ready to raise a kid. So, he was honest about it and he told her that. Because of his honesty, it cost him his girlfriend. The more he thought about things, the more he realized that he was being completely irrational and childish about things. The more he thought about it, it all made sense. So, he went back and explained to her how he was ready to be a father and that he’d do whatever he possibly could in order to give the baby an amazing life. The news that followed that crushed him completely. Sophie had lost the baby.

it had been awhile since taryn had done anything remotely right in her life when it came to tayla. ever since the baby had been born, all there had been was fighting and more fighting. taryn couldn't count the number of times she stormed out of the house in the middle of the night and taken refuge in the strip club where she had gotten her job back. it look a little bribery, but she managed to get her job back and her old hours. given the fact that tayla was constantly busy with her new obsession, taryn had all the time in the world to do whatever she wanted to do without tayla noticing. both of the girls were too wrapped up in their own lives to stop and actually spend time together for a change instead of hurling telephones and remote controls at the other one. taryn knew that they were going through massive turmoil and she knew that it had to be stopped. she knew that things between them were going to get better because really, the two of them had been through hell and back and they were still standing and taryn was just as in love with the blonde has she was the day she first realized it. yes, the baby complicated things between the two of them and yes, it was true that taryn wasn't exactly helping the situation. honestly, she tried her best to have as little involvement with the child that she possibly could. there were a whole lot of factors involved in that, she just didn't know exactly which one it was. it was a combination of being left out of things and the kid not being her own. taryn was strange and that was only just another reminder of that fact.
pulling into the driveway of the mansion, taryn killed the engine of her camaro and sat there for a minute. inside the prison like walls of concrete was her princess and she was determined to save her from the hell that they'd built in the past few months. after all, the blonde was literally the love of her life and she would do anything it took to make the smile on her face come back and shine like it used to. sitting in the seat of the car, she flashed back to the days before the baby came along. she remembered all of the things that the two of them would do and a smile crossed her face. taryn had no idea why any of that had changed. sure, things were a little bit more complicated, but that wasn't a reason that their entire relationship dwindled on a small strand at the end of each and every day. all of the bullshit that she started was all in the past and she knew that things had to change. things were different now and tayla needed her more than anything and she wasn't there for her. running her fingers through her hair, taryn looked at the house in front of her and all she could see was the look on tayla's face the day that she pulled up to the house for the first time with everything she owned in the backseat of her car. that was the start of the rest of her life and never for a single moment since then had she regretted her decision to move in with tayla. not once. even as she sat in the seat of the camaro, she did not regret moving into the house. tayla was undoubtably the best thing that had ever happened to taryn and she wasn't going to let it slip through her fingers. not this time. she was determined to cling to the happiness the blonde brought her with every power she possibly possessed.
shaking the memories from her head, taryn glanced over at the dozen roses sitting in her passenger's seat. it was sort of cliche, but it was a start. things had been extremely bad lately and really, taryn was the reason. to be completely honest, she was always the reason behind ninety percent of the fights that took place between the two of them. there were a lot of circumstances in which fights could have easily been avoided, but being the stubborn, thickheaded person she is, taryn pressed things further and caused a scene, in turn, blowing things out of proportion. she knew that it was her fault and she knew that she wasn't being the best girlfriend in the world, but she was determined to change all of that. putting out the cigarette that had been burning down to the filter in her hand in the ash tray, taryn grabbed the roses from the seat and opened the car door, only to close it after she stepped onto the pavement. there were a lot of things that needed to be changed and apologizing to tayla was the first thing that needed to be taken care of. not only was tayla neglecting taryn, but taryn was neglecting tayla in return. it was going to be a long road to recovery, but then again, taryn knew all about that. being clean for a few months had been worth it and her reward was worth more than anything anyone could have given her. making her way up the driveway, taryn stood on the doorstep with the roses in her hand. taking a breath, she reached her hand out and rang the doorbell. tayla was probably the only person alive that could give her butterflies and at that point in time, taryn thought they were going to rip through her stomach and fly away. things were going to get better. they had to. taryn was going to make them.
